Welcome to GIS-pax TeamPlayer
TeamPlayer enables the standardisation of trap description and risk evaluation of prospects. As a web application, it has been built to help teams access functionality in our Player software without having to go into desktop software (ArcGIS Pro – and Player in this case). The intent is to help collate the knowledge in the broader conventional exploration team efficiently and securely, so we have built a methodology to save your work into a local Excel file which can later be loaded into Player, or back into TeamPlayer.
With TeamPlayer, you get to describe your traps both visually (in plan and cross-section) via simple UI controls, and also risk them through a customisable risking guide or template.
We do not see or get copies of the work you do in your browser. None of your work stays on our servers.
To access TeamPlayer send ilongley@gis-pax.com a request from your work email address and Player licensees will be given an account with an initial 3 month expiry. No personal emails are allowed sorry.
By using the password we send you (which you change on first login), you are agreeing to not share the logon details with anyone and you will not publish or share our evaluation methods/IP/website content or any other data with non GIS-pax licensees. If you do want to share or publish anything from this site you will need to get our written approval. Please note Player licensees are already bound by confidentiality provisions in your licence agreement with us as are customers accessing this functionality as part of a trial of the Player software with GIS-pax. Nothing in this website is public domain.
Note for PSC contractors in Indonesia: We have SKK Migas as a client and we are helping them build and collate a modern play analysis evaluation over the entire archipelago, so ask Sidiq Pramada spramada@skkmigas.go.id to approve you getting access to the site and then we will contact you directly. You do not need to be a GIS-pax Player licensee to gain access since we are trying to help SKK Migas standardise the trap description and risk evaluation of the undrilled prospects in their vast inventory.
For the Player Global Trap Schema (Player GTS) the Longley & Ventris, 2021 released presentation can be downloaded here. Note some flanks and surfaces are blanked in this presentation to protect IP. The presentation at the workshop was recorded and can also be downloaded here. These documents are public domain and the trap schema should be referenced as Longley, I.M. & Ventris, P., 2021. The search for the stratigraphic traps - has it come of age? EAGE/SEC workshop keynote presentation, 7-9th December 2021, Kuala Lumpur.
